Victorian mansion apartments with private hot tubs, 2 minutes from Shanklin beach
About the Hotel
Shanklin Villa is a Victorian mansion set within a garden, located 2 minutes' walk from Shanklin's beaches and the Shanklin Chine ravine. Guests receive free entry to Shanklin Chine and a discount on the ferry crossing to the Isle of Wight. Visitors can also use the indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, and games room at the sister hotel Luccombe Hall.
Rooms
The apartments offer open-plan living and dining areas with flat-screen TVs, sofas, and fully equipped kitchens including a microwave, fridge, kettle, dishwasher, and washing machine. Each three and four-bedroom apartment has a private hot tub on its patio or roof terrace. Studios and one-bedroom apartments provide sea views from select units and come with a welcome hamper of local produce.
Location
Shanklin Villa sits halfway between the seafront and Shanklin Old Village, with both reachable in 5 minutes on foot. The Shanklin Chine ravine is a 2-minute walk away, and the beach is equally close. A golf course is a 10-minute drive from the apartments, and Shanklin Railway Station is under 15 minutes' walk.
Family-Friendly Accommodations
Families can book three or four-bedroom apartments with private hot tubs, giving children safe outdoor space. The sister hotel Luccombe Hall offers an indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna, and a games room with an authentic 1980s arcade-all accessible free of charge. Cots and high chairs are available on request, and the apartment kitchens include full cooking equipment for self-catering.
Services
A welcome hamper with Isle of Wight tea, coffee, biscuits, and a handwritten card greets guests on arrival. The apartments are cleaned to a high standard, and bed linen is changed mid-week for stays of 7 nights or more. Staff assist with ferry bookings and provide recommendations for local restaurants, pubs, and attractions.
